Andy is a senior marketing professional with a technology background in hi-tech software. His career encompasses both hands-on and leadership roles in Marketing, Product Marketing, and Partner Management. He specializes in bringing technical software solutions to market.

Enterprise Software
Andy worked at both PeopleSoft and Baan Company in the heyday of ERP in the mid-to-late 90's. While at Baan Company he built the Baan Partner program from scratch to handle over 200 ISV, technical, and consulting partners. He personnally evaluated over 100 companies for technical, marketing, and selling fit and created and ran the Baan Certified Applications program. He also created go-to-market programs with leading companies aimed at driving more business through cooperative lead generation programs. At PeopleSoft, he managed all of their SCM and CRM partnerships and was instrumental in creating the first verified interface between PeopleSoft and Vantive.

eBusiness Software
Andy began working with web-based applications in 1999 at a startup where he led Product Marketing and helped create a B2B network between Manufacturers and their VARs in the IT channel. He learned the tools and vernacular of the trade and most importantly experienced first hand the challenges of delivering web-based software to enterprise customers. Leveraging this experience he went to StoreSight Systems and helped lead the specification, development, marketing, and sales of their Product Availability Locator system. At this startup he created MRDs, developed product strategy, developed and created collateral, and even wrote the company's website and the company's demo site.

Tools and Technology
Andy started his career in product development, working on highly technical systems for the Air Force and the Pentagon. He moved west and landed in the San Francisco Bay Area, at a startup that created system design and modeling tools for Systems Engineers who were working on sophisticated projects as the Space Station and the Nuclear Submarines. Andy leveraged his technical skills across computer systems management, product management, and eventually into marketing.
Later in his career, Andy would return to his technology roots at Centura Software, where he helped turn around the company through adept packaging, positioning, messaging, and marketing of the companies existing products and an aggressive public relations campaign that brought the long forgotten "tools" company to the forefront of the market in less than 1 year.

Education
Andy holds an MBA from San Jose State University and a BS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.

Andy is the VP of Job Sourcing for the SPM eGroup.
